    While browsing found this:
    BlackBerry® Z3 (Unlocked, 8GB, Black) #AP_BB_Z3_black - Expansys USA

I was under the impression that Z3 wasn't available yet for the US.

I might be wrong or they are shipping it from their other stores.

Either way it might be of interest for US citizens.

Secondary market. It's not available from primary sources like the carriers, ShopBB, or other retailers.

And at this price, it's more expensive than a Z10...

It is more pricey. Guess they are making the most of selling the device before its officially announced.

Not on LTE (because the phone doesn't have LTE bands,) and not on their main UMTS 1700 3G/HSPA+ network. It will run on the refarmed UMTS 1900 network.

You're guaranteed to get 2G. You may get 3G or "4G" (the non-LTE kind) if you're in the right places. TMO uses two frequencies for 3G/"4G" : 1700 and 1900. 1700 is their main one, and this band is not present in the Z3. 1900 is the one they're in the process of refarming from 2G to 3G/"4G", and if you're in one of these places where the refarm's complete, you will get it.

I looked it up (here) and it seems like the only requirement for MMS on BB10 is the APN setting. So I think you will be able to send and receive SMS/MMS.
