    Hi Everyone

I have a Z3 (STJ100-1 with Software Release 10.3.1.1179) which as per BB Link and the update via website link is up to date. However the Z3 check for updates itself and keeps saying it needs an update to 10.3.1.1179 even though it's the same SW version.

It also asks me to clear 1.9GB of space to do this update when is why I opted for the web/link option in the first place

So I guess the question is, why does the Z3 think it needs an update when actually its fully up to date. Best regards, Simon

there are probably some small fixes it wants to load. Just ignore it if you have an OS on your device and running. Many of the Z3 phones started the OTA updates and then crashed because there was not enough room. It was a known error that caused a lot of headaches.

    Hello, Crackberry Question.

Sometimes when you delete an app from your device it will tell you, you need to update so it can replace it again.

For the Software update, I would shut down the device completely and see if anything changes. If not, just try ignore the update message. I used to have this issue but it seemed to sort itself out.

This is not only the case for OTA, even you can see update msg from BBW for an apps which is already uptodate.
