I have used both th Z10 & Q5, both of which I can testify to both b scratch resistant, anybody wit an idea if Z3's screen is scratch resistant??

the Z3 screen is not made of gorilla glass of any sort of protective glass, just like the Z10 who has a sort of plastic instead of glass. So if you want a scratch resistant phone you will have to put down some more money for a Z30.

If d Z10 was made of a certain type of plastic according to u, then I wish it is d same plastic dat is used for d Z3 bcos I could remember using my Z10 for 3 months without a screen guard of any sort & there wasn't any scratch, same way wit my Q5

It's true that the Z3 I is not using Gorilla Glass (Corning) but I would be very surprised if it'd not using another glass manufacturers technology, like Dragon Trail (Japanese) , or Schott (German).

Gorilla Glass is simply a brand name that Corning markets very well. The others offer similar, if not superior technology. Supplier agreements prevent them from saying who but some careful digging may turn up the actual supplier. It's very unlikely the Z3 has no protective coating in its panel.

The Passport is said to have Gorilla Glass though, so not sure if they all have been and just never advertised it or they switched glass suppliers...

I did not use the free screen protector supplied with the Z3. I simply got H9 tempered glass screen protector which offers great scratch resistance.
