    Just ran the phone only on GSM mode without wifi/2G for lark. Even the BBVE could not keep up with marathon 84 hour test and 'Since Last Charge' is showing the cropped time lapse. Looks like Blackberry never thought their Z3 will be tested in dumbphone mode. Time started with 100% on Thursday 3.00 AM That's huge time methinks Z3 Dumbphone Battery Test-batt.png

    That's fairly impressive. Mind you, I wouldn't have the will power to go without full use of my device for a fraction of that time!

    I totally get where you are coming from. I was toting the standby Htc One for main work during the test. Z3 was backing up with personal simcard to stay in touch with family with short calls and sporadic sms. Not to say that it was just idle all the while.
