I am trying to update a blackberry z3 for a friend and I have had problems with insufficient space. From the posts I have read doing a security wipe would create the necessary space required for the update.

The thing is people talk about getting stuck on some percentage level e.g. 98%, for hours, so I ensured I deleted all apps videos, data etc, for a smooth process, but on commencing the wipe I can't even see any percentage level, the only thing I see is a symbol of some memory stick, is this normal? Or I am doing something wrong, please help me

Thanks, and it was successful, took about an hour and half, thanks to deleting lots of data and apps prior to the process.

But now I still have to free up 257mb of space, have an idea how I can do this, thanks
