Review BlackBerry Z3: BB Pintar Termurah - CHIP Online Indonesia
Seems to bee a solid revue (at least via google translate). I like that they give a short introduction in gestures and explain the installation of Android apps. Expected more from batterylife (which probably will become better).

Highlights of the review in English:

    Price: 2,199,000 rupiah

    Pros:
    • Large screen
    • Solid form and design
    • Newest OS 10.2.1

    Cons:
    • Screen quality is lacking for outdoor use
    • A bit heavy

    Highlights:
For those of you who are currently using Android-based smartphones or BlackBerry Z10, you will feel a bit dissatisfied with the Z3. But for those of you who are still using legacy BlackBerry or low end Android devices, you will be satisfied with what you get from Z3 with the retail price of 2.2 million rupiah.

I read through the detailed review and seems like the reviewer is mostly complaining about the size and weight. The reviewer also experienced slowdowns once more than 4 apps are opened at the same time. This I think debunks the theory that Z3 can only support up to 4 active frames. Otherwise, the experience is smooth and trouble free.

Thanks very much for translating that.

I did not think the 4-frame limit was a "theory", I thought it had been specifically stated by BlackBerry. (Based on what sounded like authoritative articles by Crackberry and others. I have not found an official technical document on this yet.)

So I'm very curious about that.

If they are pushing Android app compatibility, as they seem to be in their Indonesian advertising, users may find very soon that that can be the biggest memory-eater on the device.
