    And before you press the "update" button, it's also a good idea to be connected to a good fast WiFi and have the phone on a charger. The update may take hours. You usually have to press a couple of "accept" or "continue" buttons during the update when they appear on screen. If you have previously set your device to automatically download updates then you may find things are slightly different. I don't do it that way so I cannot comment.
