We loose more and more customers to droid/windows...

Today I have been to 8 phone shops 2 stocked BlackBerry and one would only sell to business

    3 - no BlackBerry
    T-Mobile - no BlackBerry
    Orange - no BlackBerry
    EE - no BlackBerry
    Vodafone - only to business
    Phones4u - no BlackBerry
Carphone warehouse - yes had stock
    Tesco mobile - no BlackBerry

For every second BlackBerry does not get the z3 into uk shops, they fall ever further trying to gain customers that have purchased a budget droid device.

The uk should be treated very importantly for the company's future.

But I think there are phones wich are cheap enough for GB:

    - z10
    - q5

So why is the z3 so important for GB.... I think more important would be that this device comes to low-bufget markets... and that it comes a future device for z10...

and not to forget the q10 needs a son

z10 can be had for $200 now....why the need for the z3 so bad? its a lesser quality phoen than the z10 for the most part

People are missing the point we can't get hold of them in shops and you need a good Moto g killer for consumers and better sales training for staff.

That's not going to push BlackBerry as it's only us ( selected community) who really know what BlackBerry can do.

The Z10 is selling for 149 pounds new here, and the Q5 for 90 pounds (Carphone Warehouse)... but supply is very limited, so they can be hard to find.

Actually I agree - stick 4G capabilities on the Z3, get it into the UK for 120 pounds or so, make people aware of it I can imagine it would sell pretty well.

Don't know for the UK market, I think that low budget phones like the Z3 are not for that market, but I would say the same as the OP but for Latin America, at least in my country Every second the Z3 is not in Ecuadorian market a Lumia is sold instead.

Those prices have been and gone. Both the Z10 and Q5 are currently 199.95 SIM Free which leaves a gap for the Z3 to come in around 120-150 as you mentioned.

They are indeed losing a lot of customers...in India too...
Since people flock into the stores here and and pick up a cellphone and leave.... and the visibility of BlackBerry is next to none... Samsung and Apply rule the roost!

What do you mean low-price BlackBerry smartphones are not for the UK market or any other First World country for that matter? Marketed properly it might lure students in high school, college and university to BlackBerry. Of course they'd have to add LTE support.

The z3 could do well in th UK but it will depend on the stores as well.

Went into Carphone warehouse recently with my daughter. She was thinking of buying a z10 and I asked if there was anything else at that price that could compete. He said no. The z10 was great value and a good phone. That response is sadly rare!

    That's because they are old

Realistically there's no chance of carriers relaunching the Z10

BlackBerry UK assure me it's coming, perhaps to carrier's business customers only though.

The UK carriers have lost interest in trying to sell BB10 phones to consumers, and it won't be long before the same is the case for BBOS phones.
