    From day 1 I have been using picture password for my z3. 3 days back set to simple number password. Also made many other changes in settings. Yesterday when I opened the camera it didnt start. So tried to undo all the settings changes. Finally only after going back to picture password, the camera app came back and was able to start the camera. But was able to open only from the app icon. After a restart, was able to open from other applications and lock screen.

    Have you tried restarting your device first? It's much easier than undoing all your Settings.

    I did restart, hard reset by pressing volume buttons. Both didnt fix the issue.
