Currently, it is only Indonesia and South Africa shortly after. But I'm thinking they will release it for other countries like Philippines soon too

Most probably they will release the phone here in the Philippines as well. Also awaiting news on this. Looking forward to reading the reviews by next month!

The presence is still there. But the z30 wasn't supported by any of the carriers here so I wouldn't be surprised if the z3 will have the same faith.

Right, I don't know why the z30 isn't supported by carriers, but then, hoping the future devices would be. As of now rocking with black and white z10 while waiting.

Same here. Here's to hoping future Bb10 devices will still be supported by our carriers.

Z30 has been out few months and still can't find it here. The Curves are still selling so I think the Z3 will be a good replacement for those wanting to upgrade from Curve and don't want to spend too much for a Q10 or Z10. I hope blackberry will sell their phones online in their websites. How many times I went to shops looking for blackberry Q10 and nobody knows about it. Only found 1 shop selling it and the sales person was helpful because she is using a Z10. So she helped me with the gestures and setting up. I was coming from 9360. Hope they will release this phone here as well.

I see legacy devices once in a while but have yet to encounter anyone using a BB10 device.

They probably don't want to risk selling another possible non-selling device. Can't blame them, though.

Just get it from widgetcity or kimstore.

As per gsmarena, scheduled release date is April 2014. Not quite sure if it'll be officially available in the Philippines. That's up to the carriers.

I just came back from the Philippines and was using my z30 exclusive without any issues.

So I know it works there without a hitch. Ran it with a globe sim card

Yes it's a BlackBerry. If you have something bad to say... speak to Easton!

If the Z3 sells at a low price, there's a chance Globe might sell it. Of course, if it doesn't have LTE (or it does?) then probably it may be assigned to Plan 549 and below. I do hope Globe takes into consideration of this phone as an upgrade to Curves.

And yes I do own a Z30 and using it on Globe's network.. just buy an STA100-2 variant as it's LTE frequencies are compatible to Globe's (Band 3, LTE 1800). I haven't tried Smart though (they use Band 1, LTE 2100) but the Z30 supports Band 1.

I hope they sell the Z3 here. I'm glad BlackBerry will be offering a mid-range, full-touch alternative for those who want full-touch but aren't willing to spend for a Z10.

I'm using a Q10, my friend has a Z10. I wish our carriers would promote the BB10 devices more.

My Z30 is from Rogers in Canada as that's where I live.

It worked fine but I'm sure I was not getting globe's fastest data speeds as my unit was sta100-5

You'd just be wasting battery life here in PH if you tried LTE. 5 - 10Mbps Average speed here =)) before it did reach 27Mbps. That's for Globe . I haven't tried Smart though.

I've already seen a number of Z10s in my area (Alabang). A handful of people at work have Z or Q.

Been a BlackBerry user here since just 2012. I could say that BlackBerry is slowly withering away, as I haven't seen a single device even if I walk around everywhere everyday. Last BlackBerry I found was a lady I saw two months ago. It's really hard to find one around here now, as compared to before. The obvious Apple and Samsung takeover applies here too.

Well, it's the opposite here. I'm seeing more people with Z10 and Q10 phones haha (and myself, I owned a Z10, Q10 and Z30 (snatched ) ). I kinda wish the Z30 and Z3 gets here sooner .

Hmm, the latest certifications don't say anything about the Philippines. A sizable list of countries the Z3 is in or planning to be in, but no tl_PH or en_PH.
