I received a Z30 Tuesday as an insurance replacement of my Z10. I had picked up a Classic when my Z10 suddenly died. I LOVED buttons again but the smaller screen, well, I wasn't in love with that. I haven't figured out how to add Droid apps to the Z30 like my Z10 accepted seamlessly but I do like the Z30 overall. It's heavier, much bigger, and the screen is great!

As far as the post goes, I have a z10 and a z30. My z10 continues to be my main phone while my simless z30 is used as a tablet and games until such time as my z10 dies. The z30 is a larger more robust phone with more features, but my z10 continues to perform flawlessly. If you want to upgrade, the z30 is a great choice, especially if on sale, but for my purposes the z10 is fine.

The Z30 has usb-on-the-go (plug in thumb drives and other use devices). Wifi direct. Better speakers. The Verizon Z30 has wireless (qi) charging.

It depends

Bigger Screen: it can be both a pro and a con depending on what you prefer. But you can be pretty sure that we probably will not have another 4.2 inch flagship phone from ANY phone manufacturer in the future, as the 5 inch screen category seems to be the norm.

Z30 has features such as
- Paratek antenna: Helpful if you live in rural areas with shotty signal, but otherwise might not be noticeable.

- Better Speakers: The Z30 is noticeably louder than the Z10. Might not be a big deal if you are a ear phone user.

- Slightly faster cpu: again might not be a big deal since BlackBerry Z10 is already quite smooth.

- FM Radio
- USB on the go
- WiFi calling


The biggest reason that people upgrade to the Z30 seems to be the battery life. If you just want the battery life, you can make use of the Z10's removable battery to install a 3800mah mugen extended battery which is going to last even longer than the Z30.

True, I would say get a Leap. While the Z30 does win on the specs. The screen on the Leap looks a little better

But if you ok with a... well ok screen. Then the Z30 is the device for you. The only thing the Leap has over the Z30 is its screen.

Z30 is best of all full touch devices available in the market not only in just BB but including other companies though being old. Should definitely go for it if you can afford it.
Based on my experience on Z10 and Z30 and other stupid Andriod devices.
