So I havnt dropped my phone or anything, but i picked it up off my desk and it wouldnt turn on. I assumed that it was just th epower putton so I did a battery pull. When I put the batter back in, the red led didnt turn on. i tested the battery in my sisters phone and it works fine. If I plug my phone into a charger with the battery REMOVED, the red led turns on for about a minute and then turns off. But the moment i put the battery back in the phone t[he led shuts off again. Any ideas at all as to what can be done?

Hold the volume up and down buttons at the same time for 30 sec or until you see the blue loading icon.

If that doesn't work, does link detect the phone as being connected?

I had that issue, now twice. It took concerted effort. Make sure to try charging it. Leave for a few hours on the charger.

Try connecting to usb on computer. Signs of life? Unplug from computer. Remove battery. Plug back in usb - life?

If any signs of life, see if you can get an autoloader for the OS you want in our OS subforum. That's how I got it back to life - autoloader when nothing else worked.

I've been trying different combinations but can't get it to connect to the pc. I'll charge it all night and see if that changes anything. Thanks for the tip

Welp, I've tried everything suggested in this thread to no avail. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? It worked for about two days after I replaced the case and broken lcd. Then seemingly out of the blue, it restarted, then shut off and hasn't worked since. any help would be greatly appreciated. My son is pretty bummed about his Christmas present...

Anyone have any other suggestions? Or is a new phone the only solution?

If the phone was dropped/repaired it may need additional repair? Or a new phone.
