Hello I installed the 10.1 update OTA(Rogers), when it finished it asked me to restart my device, I did and now it won't load passed the boot screen, its been sitting at the 100%!for 30 mins now, and I can't get my computer to pic up the phone to reload the OS!

I'd keep waiting a while longer... did you have a leaked 10.1?

Same issue here... just hooked it up to my PC to try to reload the OS

Edit: Just moved past boot screen. Took a good 5 minutes though.

Edit2: Hub isn't loading initially... doing a reboot or two, but seems OK. Phone is lagging quite a bit, but it's expected at the get-go.

Happens occasionally on 10.1, battery pull is the only solution. Sometimes it takes 2 for it to settle itself. Did it boot to 100% very quickly?

Yes it did get 100% very quickly then just stayed there, I'm retrying with my sd card out.

That happened to me and I did a battery pull then left my phone to load on its own while I showered and it works fine now.

Yeah it took me a while to get past the 100% mark but it eventually did show the Rogers splash screen and now its fine. Be patient if anything.

It's not the sd card. I've had it happen several times with different versions of 10.1, that's how I knew it went to 100% very quick.

If it isn't giving 110% it isn't trying hard enough.

    Hey all,

    Having the same problem...

My Z10 won't load past the 100% blackberry symbol loading screen.

I have tried rebooting several times (and without the SD) to no avail.

Even tried a couple hard factory resets and still will not pass it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It normally takes a while... how long did you wait? i contemplated rebooting (battery pull) as i thought it was frozen, but surely it did load up... maybe 5mins once the BBRY icon/percentage screen showed up. took about another 10-15mins to get to that point from the "BlackBerry" screen...

Mine is taking much longer than that.

I connected it to link (which was able to read it) and did a reload from there, however, now my phone won't boot past the blackberry (word, before the icon loading page). It has been about 15 minutes already...

I have had to do a wipe on my Z10 as the blackberry hub was perpetually at "Preparing Blackberry Hub". After that the phone is back to normal.

I had the same issue when i did my update. It's not normal but you should be patient. Give anything (pc, phone, pvr, router, etc) whatever you updated a chance to complete. If you don't, you might cause more issues.

When I updated to official 10.1 OTA it took about half an hour to reboot after I followed the instructions to restart. Sat with just the BlackBerry logo showing for 20 mins... then the carrier logo for 10 mins. The phone was laggy at first then settled down after a couple of reboots.

This is ridiculous!!!! I upgraded OTA and waited and waited for more than 2 hours. I confess I did a battery pull and a couple of reboots. After hitting the forums, they say that a 5 minute battery pull may allow to normally reboot. In this case it did the trick, but guess what? NO HUB. It did show the 118 MB 10.1 MR upgrade as available again... I did, the OTA download and I'm stuck at the 100% screen again. This time I'm going to give it 6 hours to be on the safe side... BUT a QNX (rock solid OS) should provide a warning, chronometer or some kinf of visual indication for a clear indication of what to do or what not to do in a case like this. DAMN YOU BLACKBERRY!!!!!!!!! One wants to push for you and support you but you make it so difficult to remain loyal...
