As per the title, does anyone else find their phone won't quite fully charge? The power bolt icon will flash to indicate charging - it hits 100% then as soon as I pull the USB out its 97%.

Software issue?

Mine did this today. Could push it up to 98% after reboot.

However this is nothing to worry about. Battery percentage isn't exactly an exact science and rest assured the battery is fully charged though it doesn't show that in the percentage. It will probably stay on higher percent for longer while it discharges. Compensates itself. Mine stayed on 86% for a much longer time than usual today.

Mine does this always, ever since i bought it on 24th March 2014...
I have the latest OS upgraded as soon as i bought. So am not sure whether the problem was even before upgrade / just after upgrade..

This issue is not surprising for me. I had this since 10.2.1 . My observation is, If your battery didn't run out of juices and the device didn't automatically turned off and you charged it, the remaining % of charged will not added to your screen battery percentage. Sound's confusing right?

Let say for example: I still have 35% of battery and I charged it, it will on reached 65% ( the indicator will show that the battery is full charged at 65% ) because you still have 35% left before.

If you want your device to show 100% do a battery pull for 3 minutes.

This issue might depend on your Z10 model ( 100 -1 / 2 / 3 / 4 )
Always happened on my Z10 STL 100-1.

Mine does 78% after 10.2 update... and with 10.2.1 nothibg has changed but its an actual charge rate as now the phone only makes through the day, and it used to make it through 2 days before when it was charging up to 100%

P.S. I swaped the battery with other z10 and it charged up to 100%, so probably the problem is in the batteries

If your Z10 ever stops charging before the 100% remove it from the wall charger and connect it to a PC via USB and it will continue charging till the 100% and it might prevent this from happening in the next times as long as you charge your phone only when the battery is really low
