If it's a network attached storage drive -Yes, sideload either ES explorer or the wd2go app (you can find both on good ereader website. I use both and both work great. The wd2go app only works with movie files in mp4 format though. ES explorer plays mkv files, divx, mp4, etc. So its a bit more useful. The wd2go app works outside of your home network, which is nice, whereas ES explorer works on your home network only.

If it's just the wd tv live media player, you can attach a hard drive to it and use it as a network drive, but you would only be able to use ES explorer to access it.

    I hope this helps.

thanks it does help although I haven't worked up the nerve to side load anything yet, just afraid of damaging something, no sure what all could be ruined if I mess up.
    thanks again.

Side loading is pretty easy. Not too much to mess up. Every one does it. Give it a try! Lots of good apps to sideload.

There is an easier way. The live book comes with twonky media server. Put this address into your browser and save it as bookmark. You can then navigate to all your content and play it on your Z10. The url is something like http://192.168.1.109:9000/

Thanks for your helpI have side loaded some apps. Most of of them worked a coupe did not, the ones that don't work can I just delete them or do I have to uninstall them in the program I loaded them with? Also is there a way to change the password for the developer mode because I put in too long of a password and every time i go to use the phone it has to be typed and its is driving me nuts.
