Hi as far as im aware its only O2 that we in the uk can get unlocking codes for .. is this correct?
As ive got the New Z10 mep locked to T-Mobile uk and im desperately trying to to get it unlocked ,
does anyone know to an actual genuine site or even if the t mobile uk network can be unlocked?

You can unlock phones from any UK provider. Unlocking isn't exclusive to o2 devices.

T Mobile might give you an unlock code for a fee. Otherwise you will have to try some unlocking sites when the codes are readily available. There are many places that will unlock but I'd suggest you use a site that has been recommended to you or check any feedback.

hi thanks for the reply .. however i meant for the z10 phone when i said o2 .. from what ive been reading up on its only 02 z10 models that can currently be unlocked.
i have also tried tmobile but these are saying i need tp have the phone for 3 - 6 months before they will release the unlocking code.

Keep an eye on unlocking sites. They will list which networks they unlock from and a reputable site will refund your money if a code they provide doesn't work.

Waiting 3 - 6 months wouldn't be fun so hopefully you won't have to do that.

I believe there are one or two threads already about people getting unlocked codes. You might want to search farther down the list of threads for some information about various sites. I have been reading about people in Canada getting unlock codes as I wait here in the US for the phone to be released.

Check with your network. They might say no. But with o2 they have an online form to request unlocking. Check your networks site for something similar.

isnt an online form for t mobile and they saying after 6 months when i called several times :-(
