I recently went on a 3 day trip across Texas. I live in Austin and we drove to Arp and Mexia Texas spending some days with friends. On the drive I was the co pilot so I started out in 4GLTE as we drove north east the signal strength was great I had the BlackBerry Maps running we used it for our route there. And I read a book on the Kindle App on my Zed. I even made & received calls my I didn't lose coverage as it switched from the Verizon towers and received 3G signal on AT&T. We took the back roads as she Hates I-35 so we didn't use it. I saw her complain more than once as she couldn't get any signal and yet I had full 4G LTE it was a relief to know I could do just fine so I am pleased with my coverage in the rural boondocks.

Yeah I've had good signal range from my Zed. Oddly though, at home it's worse lol.

Good story thanks for sharing! Sounds like a great trip.

BlackBerry's experience in cellular radio pays off for us customers. This is why when you go to the bush and you want to communicate, take a phone. If you go to the bush and want to survive, take a BlackBerry.
