    Please use rice beacause it will attract Asian who will repair your phone for free =))
    Seriosly though, put the rice in a small cloth bag so none of it will get inside your phone ie the head phone jack, sim tray, sd card tray etc

    My friend's Z10 fell in some water. Pulled the battery. Blew it dry with a 1500 watt hair dryer. Reinstalled battery. Works too

    Just to provide closure to all of you concerned with my ladies Z10; Her lower microphone never worked after her Z10 was dropped in water. That meant she could not hold the phone to her face and talk. Also BBM voice and video chat had no sound from her. Everything else worked, even the speaker phone.

    I bought a Z10 midframe which comes with the microphone I needed. Yesterday the midframe showed up. I carefully removed the microphone and put it in her Z10. The transplant was a success and her Z10 can hear once again.
