It's the rapid charger. It charges my berries in 80 minutes from a 20% charge. Nice to have when you don't like carrying around extra batteries.

Might have to look that up on amazon.

I just moved back to my Z10. The Mrs borrowed my Passport. I got a databank to use when I'm on the road. Not so bad actually.

I agree, having the battery charger pack is a must! After two years with my z10, it's starting to show its age. I have to use battery charger pack every day now, and sometimes my z10 won't recognize that it's being charged. Will get a new phone by the end of the year though.

    Z10 is superior...all except the battery life.-img_20150906_120044.png

Average battery life of 6 days, I don't know who this phone thinks it's fooling.

What I noticed is that mobile data is a big destroyed of battery life.
Depends a lot on your carrier frequency used. Also the signal strength of the carrier signal. If you have a low signal level of like 1-2 bars, then the phone is putting out a lot of power to talk back to the tower.
The tower knows how far you are from it and tells the phone how much power to put out to keep a consistent connection to the tower.
That is the issue almost all people don't realize when it comes to battery life. Not just the weak signal but the frequency of the signal. The higher bands are not as efficient and require more power than the lower bands.
T-Mobile uses a higher band frequency for it's LTE than AT&T in my area. In the same phone and with the same number of bars, the T-Mobile SIM in my Z10 would eat through the battery much faster than the AT&T SIM.
    Just some info to consider.

I have that on my z10 when it isn't connected to mobile, near a strong Wi-Fi and I have it on standby.

I understand the extra battery solution, but should everyone really HAVE to carry extra batteries to make the phone last at least a solid day? Not trying to break balls, but it's the truth.

Yer busting my BlackBerry balls Flair. Me Berries have feelings ya know... kidding

The fact is when I got the extra battery pack cuz I heard how bad the battery was. Ssid battery pack is still unopened in its original packaging. I just don't need it. Tried to offer battery pack to my son whom also has a z10 and he doesn't want/ need it either.

Soo.. I think battery experience varies. Some seem better than others.
