    I have a customer who put his Z10 into demo phone mode and does not remember the password he entered for it. So when going to settings the phone asks for the password. How do I get his phone back to factory fresh without being able to enter the settings to pick to wipe his phone? I tried Blackberry Desktop Manager but I see this doesn't do anything with the Z10. I am downloading Blackberry Link to see if I can do anything in there.

    Link should do it with a full OS reinstall. Back him up first

    Try 'instoredemo' as the password.

    instoredemo is the default. After entering the default the password asks to be changed which this customer did and does not remember what he changed it to.

    Trying this out as we speak. But would I want to back him up because of the forgotten password?

    Probably best not to. He'll just have to set it up again from scratch.
