Everything seemed to be perfect as i was using the leaked 10.2.0.1047 on my STL100-1; however, after switching to a new leaked like: 10.2.0.1743 or later is 1767, i can't setup my Gmail and Yahoo mail accounts at school. It's been really frustrating for me when i can't received as well as sent emails via my University's wireless network. Has anybody here witnessed this? Other than that, at home, everything's fine again when using home's wifi network. I tried to wipe, install new OS, wipe, battery pull many times but nothing works at school .

Moreover, since i've been out of 10.2.0.1047, i've never been able to restore my Data, Settings or Apps from a 6.6GB backup which had been created before the switch by Link. Even when i downgraded to 10.1, it didn't change at all. So i've just lost all of my SMS which are quite important. I did a lot of researches around the forum and nothing could cure this sh*t!

At school, the Gmail and Yahoo mail accounts always show "Not connected" and when i dig in it shows a RED message saying kind of "can't connect to server" or such.
The reason i think is probably because of this model.
Any help is more than appreciated! Thank you so much guys!

You may need to see if your university is allow a connection in the first place.

Try going to yahoo.com or gmail.com in the BB10 browser and tell us what you get.

Yes, everything works fine with the browser and any other stuff. oh One more weird thing that is there're 2 wireless networks at my Univ. and one of them has password. That one let me send and receive emails normally yet the other doesn't. However, i want my Z10 to connect wifi automatically and don't use the pw-set wifi frequently coz it's not much convenient you know, so... Ok here the picture which is worth more than saying

You'll probably have to speak with your university's IT department. I'm guessing they may have it set up for HTTP traffic only, to prevent things like Torrents or students running web servers off university WiFi.

Looks like your university allows you to use active sync (through Gmail)

Try to set up your email again by copying what they have for the iPhone in the link below:

Make sure to scroll down to the "student" section, if you're a student.

Thank you so much for leaving your helping comments, I think I just figured out what it is. Today I tried to connect to another non-pw wifi and it works perfectly so I think the problem is at the Univ.'s IT system! <3
