It does take some time to have the tracking record in the computer system so don't check your tracking just yet. Give it a day or so before you look up the tracking.
I almost certain that the delivery will require a signature. They won't take their chances leaving a smart phone at your doorstep.

I had mine rerouted to a FedExKinkos because I knew I wouldn't be home to sign for mine. You can reroute on the tracking page once the information is available...

If BB gets to the pont of indicating "out of stock" on their site, it actually does mean something. They could have said: "back order" and get slow stock from elsewhere. Either they blatantly lie as part of a huge marketing ploy, or they are not. I think they are NOT lying. Actually no, I don't think they're not lying, I know they're not.

No it means nothing. They said "out of stock" a few days ago for a little while.

From a financial perspective it doesn't matter how much these phones cost to produce. Every cent of their price is realized as profit due to the write-down. Every one they sell improves their financial position... offset by op.ex. of course.

You all need to chill about notification, and delivery. BlackBerrys chief CEO Chen is manning the phone, the email and shipping. They fired everyone, remember? CEO doesn't mean Chief Executive Officer, it means Chief Everything Officer. Chen didn't read the fine print on his contact, and is now a disgruntled employee who is trying to ship your phone to you as fast as he can. Cut the poor ba*tar* some slack.

Yes, it is. To be fair, Blackberry could have said to themselves, "Oops we underpriced this deal. Let's say the limit was reached and cancel a bunch of orders." Some may remember just that happening during the mania that followed the Touchpad fire sale.

Still, would it kill Digital River to just send an email to everyone who's order is pending, confirming the order and providing some reassurance that they are filling orders as quickly as they can....

I just spoke again on the status of my Z10 which was booked on 12/1 and these guys tells that they are going to clear by Friday this week. This is almost 15 days from the date of booking. Loosing patience. Not sure how many days will take to reach home for my normal shipping?

Ordered a white Z10 early morning on the last day. The phone was still in stock (no out of stock message) and used PayPal + US address. Still no email with tracking number sent. Hope to get it before Xmas ...

Update: DR just informed me that my order will be shipped this coming Friday. Email with tracking number will follow that same day. Lotsa apologies from DR ... but never mind that just gimme my Z10 STL100-3 in White!

So my estiated delivery date is this friday, 2 weeks after I placed my order. Oh well I just wish they would've been more informative, I ordered the 30th and people who ordered just one day after me will get theirs shipped the same day I receive mine, that's nonesense. Even worse is that people who ordered the last day but picked 2 day shipping already got theirs days ago. If I would've known I also would've chosen 2 day shipping.
