Oh, my Z10 really started to loose signal strength over last few weeks, the last update I got was over a couple of months ago, so I am counting the OS issue out. The cellular reception is so bad that it barely sticks to the full strength for few seconds. When I realized it yesterday, i tested the same sim in a spare phone, nokia 808 which was lying in my bag for ages, to my surprise, i had full signal strength on that in the same area as my Z10, so in a painful move, i had to switch to a spare moto g 1st gen which was my sisters spare phone, and i am going to send that Z10 on repair as it is out of warranty now, so fingers crossed if it would be working fine now.

Moto g is also having full signal strength.

Really a pain using android, keyboard sucks and it tool me ages to type this post, autocorrect is pathetic on android.

Any suggestions what might be causing bad cellular signal reception as i will still keep the Z for few days before giving for repair? Is this a known issue?

Z10 running latest version OS, airtel, india.

Perhaps a fresh re-install will do? Or try a radio file that you can recall had good performance on Z10 earlier?

Done that already, tried everything and I even ported my number to better carrier.
