I have had my Z10 for a year now and for not a single time have I gotten a HSPA+ signal on it..It always 3G. I live in Lebanon where I have 2 carriers Touch and Alfa. I am on Alfa but I tried once changing to a Touch sim card and I directly got the H+ signal. This is a very weird issue since both work in the same frequencies. My Z10 is Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.3175.

I think in the area you livin or using your phone....theres no alpha H+ network
.example: for me not all the time I get h+ or lte network..some places I get 3g and some places I get 2g (edge/gsm)

And for your info my bro has a Galaxy Nexus and he is on the Alfa network we can be beside each other and he has H+ and I don't.
