My Z10 digitizer no longer works anymore. Something happened to the phone ever since I plugged it into a MAC to backup. I can't even type a password in to unlock it. It runs super hot, I pulled the battery 15 times, reset it 10 times...Went to ATT and they told me that I'd have to get it replaced.... So frustrated.. just needed to vent. Great phone until today.. if this happens again, I am done. I can't believe how pissed off this made me.

right now I have alot of Hate for BB.... but that is because of my frustration and it will take me all night to get this phone back to where I need it.

Sorry to hear about your phone. That sucks. :\ Wonder why it died/did that. Makes me not want to backup my z10 to my laptop now.....

I got it back working. Seems if you pull the Z10 on a MAC while it is backing up it kind of leaves it in this weird state..reconnecting it and letting it sit for a couple hours seems to let it restore itself.... was very odd...but I am back.

Glad everything worked out but Am disheartened by the misdirected anger you had towards BlackBerry. So, you initiate a backup and then unplug the device mid-backup while there is a warning on your screen saying DO NOT disconnect the device until the backup is completed (something you fail to mention in your initial post) and somehow BlackBerry is to blame?

well it seemed this was not the cultpirt. My screen did the same thing and just locked up and I could not even type on the keyboard. I had to do a full security wipe which REALLY SUCKS but...all seems well again. I would love to know what caused this. Frustrating as hell especially when I advocate BB so much to friends and its bombs right in front of them.....the teasing doesn't help.
