    Oh my god... I just realised she's looking at a picture in the gallery xD
    I guess sending a real sms from a "fake" mom would've been to easy.

    Good frame capture and observation, pfl. When the character's msg arrived the trademark BlackBerry "Present" notification tone really stood out
    I also noticed her swiping her phone earlier in a familiar way that had me thinking she had a Zed.

    It's impossible to get that screen on a real BB10. I mean, the "Text Messages" blue bar only shows up when displaying the list of messages, once your enter the message... nothing says from:, the blue bar simply displays the sender/recipient name.

    I guess it wouldn't have been clear enough (whether the message was from mom or to mom) to convey the illustrative message (a cute text from mom) to the general audience since they aren't familiar with BB10.

    yep, there were some familiar moves she made on the phone - nice to see that BlackBerrys are still shown in those series.

    Few days ago I saw an old episode of NCIS (season 1 or 2), where an agent uses a old BlackBerry and McGee says "Is this the new BlackBerry 7220?!" and the other guy says "It's the 7230 - a real beauty!". I had a good laugh, haven't seen that device in years
