So I went on a road trip with my Z10 from Orlando to Miami then to the Keys through the Everglades quick stop at Siesta Key and then back home in Orlando. I used Blackberry Maps to get around and took a few pictures.

Quick note I have AT&T and still on 10.0.10.116.

Overall experience with BlackBerry Maps was it was more accurate than using Map Search for Google app. My only issue was the phone was over heating. It restarted on me a couple of times. I had to remove my Transform case and minimize the maps app and put the phone in sleep mode during long stretch of road.

Foursquare was great to have and helpful on reviews for things to do. We did our research prior to our trip but using FS was nice to have.

I took a few pictures and was very pleased of the outcome. I'm no professional photographer so please be respectful.

Overall the phone held up, I was very pleased and highly recommend having a car charger and a portable battery charger or backup battery.

My lady and I did a similar trip way before BlackBerry was an idea in anyone's brain. We took the Autotrain from DC to Sanford and drove to Key West. A hurricane had devastated the area south of Miami the previous fall. The open wounds were still there. We had fun on the Keys and drove back to DC stopping in various cities along the way. I would like to do something like it again.

I've been trying to do the 4 corners of the contiguous US. So far I've driven from Seattle to Vancouver, BC so I'd call that the north-west corner, Key West is the south-east, San Diego to Mexico, that's the south-west corner. Only made it to New Hampshire so still have the north-east corner to do. Road trip! Lol

I just wish they had an option where you can buy their maps offline so I don't have to use up all my data. What was the data usage like?

For that I recommend Mireo DON'T PANIC. It's actually really neat and can access maps offline. You can even try the maps for a couple of days free before you decide to buy them. Only download over tho, because the files are mostly big

My data usage during that time period was just under 1gb. That included maps, social media, posting pictures on instagram and Facebook, crackberry app, and Foursquare.

We were walking along a bridge and looking over into the water. The road you see in the back is the main road and we saw a few cross which was scary as I heard they can mess up your car.

Can you pinch the maps to see more of what's ahead? I can't. All I see is the street I'm on and not much more.

You can, switch it from navigation mode to Map mode and from there zoom in where you need to zoom in. Also while it Map mode on the top right corner there's an option to select list mode which was also helpful.
