    just wondering if anybody has had their Z10 sent back to Blackberry for repair and are having to use there former blackberry device? well thats what ive had to do and its killing me having to wait to get my Z10 back, it cant come quick enough for me.

    So what was the supposed issue with Z10?

    I can not see why it would take 28 days for a repair when a replacement takes only a few days or so.

    it wasnt charging fully, and slow to the touch, ive had my Z10 since Feb so cos the tech hub inside carphonewarehouse could not fix it they have sent it to blackberry for them to fix or send me a new one, hence the 28 days.

    IMHO, they should just send you a new device. BlackBerry really needs to work on customer service. Superb CS builds loyalty and is just plain good business.

    Funny, Superb CS was exactly what I got when my out of warranty PlayBook had to go for repairs. Got a new one free of charge (even all the shipping was on BlackBerry... I mean, RIM. It was still RIM. ).

    I had to give mine to repairs a week after I got mine early feb. Got a new one back a few days later. Guess to spare parts out yet back then.

    That hasn't been my experience, and that's exactly my point. The experience should be uniform. Try getting a response from @blackberryhelp. It's hit and miss at best.

    I hear you on that one. But then again, trusting media channels on tech issues isn't the best idea to begin with.

    Bad on them bot to reply, but everybody knows you don't need BIS on BB10, yet you can use BB10 devices with a BIS plan.

    Not everyone. It's a question that has been asked in this forum, but that was not my question. I wanted to know from BlackBerry if BB10 needed a different plan from other smartphones because my carrier told me I needed a special plan and I had read differently.
