My trusty z10 is going in for repair again, same issue with crackling in the ear piece speaker but also a new issue of purple spots appearing I. The screen when it is black, anyone else have issues such as this?

The display did prove to be prone to problems for me too...Had bright spots showing more than once. took 3 warranty repairs to get it fixed!
I suggest you take it in too, should be covered under warranty!
