Tell you what, when I got my Z10, what a phone. It was class, sleek, compact, and, when I reflect, possibly one of the best mobile phones I and others have ever had.

My Z10 is still going strong after so many years and I love it but I'm thinking of jumping to a keytwo. I am starting to feel I just need something a little more not because of the apps but because I want better battery life something with 1080p or whatever it offers as HQ isn't cutting it anymore. I WILL miss the swiping and everything BB10 but glad BlackBerry is still making phones.

I felt the same way! The exact same form factor and build quality with slightly newer hardware would have been great. I'm now sitting in between Z30 and Passport because of the better battery and the faster chipset. But I really do miss my Z10, that had everything else I ever wanted.

My Z10 has the distinction of being the only BlackBerry device I have owned since it launched. I have a dozen or more devices, but my Z10 is the only one I refuse to sell. It still does what does very well.

Good for you. Can't agree with your experience, though. Probably my worst phone ever.

I loved mine. Bought it as a refurb through AT&T back in late summer of 2013. Although no longer in regular service (retired it only a year ago), I do keep it charged, using only wi-fi, and have the latest OS available on it.

Never had a problem with it, other than the less than stellar battery life.

It did, with a brief regression for the Passport. The Priv's PKB turned it from a sapling into a giant redwood, though.

I went PKB to VKB (Storm) to PKB (9650) to VKB (Z10), VKB, VKB, VKB.... more due to work offerings. But the STORM actually sold me on the benefits of a VKB, and it was a terrible phone. The Z10 did convince me that I didn't want a PKB anymore.

For similar reasons I'm keeping TCL's line of devices out of contention. I've been weaned off of PKBs by both carrot (Z10) and stick (Priv), and I'm not going to put up with all of the associated baggage just to tap on plastic again.

I remember watching the launch of BB10 and being so excited. I bought the Z10 a couple of months after launch and I instantly fell in love with it, despite the battery life. I thought the vkb was so efficient and the fact that the browser could play Flash content was awesome.

    ^^This for me!

My 9700 was beat to hell and way too slow on networking speeds, and I couldn't wait a couple of months for the Q10, so I bought the Z10 at launch. By the time the Q10 launched, I didn't feel I needed a PKB, although I now own a KEYone and really appreciative the PKB shortcuts on Android.

My Z10 is still my daily driver and likely will be until it breaks.

For me, the ONLY major negative on the Z10, even in 2018, is the battery life. I know the BB10 browser experience is a deal breaker for many, but I hate the Internet on any screen smaller than 7 inches, and mostly use news sites and Wikipedia which both work just fine on BB10.

Found my old one last night unfortunately a pin is broke so it won't charge. Thought it was going to start but didn't. Loved that phone, felt great holding it again, remember how excited I was when I got it. Can't bring myself to bin it even though it's useless.
Bit like this at least my passport still work's on wifi but won't pick up data signal. Miss my BB10.

    Swiped on my Passport!
