What a farce. After finally issuing a press statement last week that today would be the day (april 2nd) I got up early and visited most of the major retailers to acquire mine. No one had it in stock. Most of them did not even know for sure when they would be coming in. One even had a plastic dummy unit but also not a clue when the real ones would come in. Big fail. Any Dutch members here manage to get one?

Yep, a T-mobile store I popped in to had one on display. The salesman didn't know that you no longer need a BlackBerry Data plan though. Off-contract price is EUR 612. It was the STL100-2 model, even though the T-mobile network won't support LTE until later this year.

Lots of ignorance here at the vendors in Holland. Vodafone store in Amersfoort didn't know anything. One guy at The Phonehouse was a BB enthousiast and he was eagerly awaiting the Z10 as well, but also did not have a clue when it would come to his store. No info, anywhere. Last Friday, two local suppliers (Belcompany and an independent store) got a Z10 and called me (I was on their list and had harrassed them enough to remember), so I raced over and got one!
