    Hi,

I've read around and I need to get blackberry link to work in order to attempt to reinstall an OS to my Z10.

I'm running Windows 7 and I've uninstalled, reinstalled it 2 times, I've uninstalled every apple/iTunes application and it still won't work.

I tried bbry blend but it couldn't locate the device (either because blend doesn't work with z10 and/or it's bricked ATM)

So the question is, 1. Is there a better/easier way to fix this blackberry z10? 2. If not, are there any other tips or tricks to getting bblink to work again?

Which Z10 variant do you have? Z10STL100-?.

Here is the latest autoloader for your device:

Download and unzip to your PC, plug in your device, and run the autoloader.

Thanks. I tried it out but it doesn't seem to recognize the Z10. I've tried plugging it in after I see `Connecting to Bottom:` or before, but neither works. I'm assuming that means it's completely dead?

While the autoloader is running and trying to detect your device, try holding down the power button on your phone.

Any amount of time in particular? I tried 30 seconds or so and all that happened was 2 red light blinks on the phone

    Try varying amounts.

But it sounds like it's dead.

Try different cable? Different USB port? If possible a different computer? All of these variables come into play.

As mh1983 stated - try a different cable. I have seen cases where the cable was not proper for this. If possible use the BB cable.
