This poll is only for people who are experiencing this random reboot issue!

    Part 2
    http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...rt-2-a-809351/

    Hello Everybody,

If have been closely watching the forums about the random reboot issue, in search for an awnser. But every single one ends up in an discussion and leads to nothing actually (this is no offense to people who actually started usefull threads!) Just like my own thread I started yesterday just to give some information. http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...eboots-809068/

I thought to myself, it's totally not clear who is facing this issue and how many are facing it. So I thought, let's make things a little more clear for the community, the CrackBerry staff and BlackBerry by making some polls to get a better view and hopefully provide some helpful information to get rid of this blown up issue.

Kevin actually already started the investigation on the homepage, so if you haven't seen it yet here is the link: CrackBerry Asks: Have you experienced random reboots on your BlackBerry Z10? | CrackBerry.com

The first poll will be about wich Z10 model you have, so STL100- (1, 2, 3 or 4)

This thread not ment to discuss the issue whether it's fake and created by haters or something like that.

I hope you guys will paricipate the polls! I really think this can bring us something good!

I will be updating this threat frequently with updates and conclusions. (if ofcourse everybody cooperates)

Update: Part 2 is now live! Please vote and leave a comment!

It might be more scientific if you divided it up...

    Stl100-1 and have reboot
    stl100-1 and don't have reboot
    stl100-2 and have reboot
    ........etc.

That way you get a ratio of what model gets a higher percentage of reboots.

Just a suggestion but thanks for your contribution.

That's why I stated you should only fill out the poll if you are having issues.

The conclusion will take care of that

    And thanks!

I'm on ATT with stl 100-3 and had random reboots after their first update and prior leaks.

Ever since I loaded the. 1762 and 1880 leaks I have not had one yet.

    Hope this helps.

10,000th word that came to mind on CB...

Have the -4 version on Verizon. Had random reboots from the start but always while charging. Updated to the latest 10.1 version and for a week or so they slowed down to every few days. Now they are back to at least once a night. So far none while the phone was in use.

St100-4 Verizon. It has rebooted several times. Mostly overnight on the provided charger. Also on connection to computer (not original connector). Only 5-6 times during the day in eight weeks.

The good side is it only takes about a minute to reboot.

freezes and reboots around once a day (say 8 - 9 times a week) ... doesn't really affect me and has only happened once when I was in the middle of something

Mine (-4 on Verizon) seems to reboot infrequently when charging the battery. It's also not as stable when using the GPS (Mireo / Maps). It's rebooting less frequently now I've removed sideloaded apps.

It's "thread" btw... you don't want to make threats to people; that'd be giving them the wrong idea

That's true. No reason he couldn't repeat the same poll series after the fact for NON-rebooters..... I think it is smart to tier it first, then repeat with non re-booters if he chooses to approach it that way. There is a way to rectify that.

A second thought... though you are correct.... would make it harder to seperate the folks claiming no reboots, eventhough they may be getting them. I could, honesly, see a situation where one is getting overnight reboots, and, unless you KNOW and are, indeed, looking for them, you may never realize it. This assumes the re-boots are few and far between.

The approach here, will, keep that out of the sample, so folks that know they are getting them will be responding.

I was starting to doubt myself on that one but it's good to hear I'm not the only one.
