I own a z10. And using it since last 4 years. It's a great phone. But it's lacks a lot of things for this generation. In our country (india), z10 doesn't support lte. It might hav a band for ur country. It's very useful for emails and calls. But if u r looking for a valuable one apart from privacy I suggest u to buy an android. Dtech50 or dtech60 are the best in my opinion. U should also join contest currently going on here (crackberry). Check that out. All the best frnd.

Been using my z10 for over 2 years now. Does it have its faults? Yes. But still, it's worth it

I actually agree with you on the lte issue. Lte just became a thing on my network, here in Nigeria and I'm feeling lost with my z10

Z10 since it has a removable battery and the build quality is better. Although, I really like the Q5's keyboard

Been using my Z10 for 3.5+ yrs now. It is showing its age and it was just lately where I feel like being on OS7 in late 2012/early 2013. Laggy, apps slow to open and BB10 apps slowly going away. IMO, I wouldn't suggest a BB10 phone but that's just me.

I have both and a Q10. As a daily driver I currently use the Q5 mainly for its messaging which is what it excels at. The Z10 is a better device for photography, media consumption, running apps or websites which make use of the screen real estate. It's slightly faster and has more on-board memory for apps storage. The battery is also user replaceable. If I were to have one device it would actually be the Q10 - most of the benefits of the Q5 and Z10 combined. And then I would get something like a Microsoft 650 or Moto G3 as a media device or for when certain apps are needed.

I too have both. Z10 for 3 years ( my daily phone) and Q5 for 2.5 years. I am impressed with the durability of both. The small size of them both easily fit into pockets.

Q5 has the better battery, but z10 has removable batteries. Z10 has more storage, better camera, 5 ghz wifi, and hdmi. The GPS on the Q5 is slower, but it has FM radio which the Z10 lacks. If you do decide on a Q5, you should get a skin case for it because the plastic is slippery.

Ultimately, it comes down to whether you want a standard glass keyboard or a physical keyboard.

If you like to move on from a qwerty keyboard to a full touchscreen phone, z10 is definitely worth it. Its size is perfect without compromising other functionality. It's totally worth the shot.

Z10 for the removable battery and screen size. Q5 if you'd need to type a lot.

BlackBerry Z10 is better than BlackBerry Q5 because of removable battery, more internal storage and micro HDMI connector.
