Just a survey of pro's and cons. I use my phone primarily on messaging. I don't have the time to play games on it. I just use YouTube but don't watch movies on phone coz I got a laptop. I am missing the legendary keyboard. Do you think it's wise to get a Q10? Or exchange my Z10 for it? Thanks. I will appreciate your opinions.

I traded my Z10 for a Q10 because of the keyboard. I just got bored with a full touch device and I loved my Bold 9900. So I would say yeah go with a Q10 if you're not the gamer type. Youtube is fine on that display and battery life is better than on the Z10.

The best I can offer is try out the Q10 or any other device you're thing of going with.
Me I love the KB on my Q10 and the 9900. I can't stand touch screen KB's and this coming from someone who also has the iphone 5.
All my typing on it is done using voice to text. I need that physical feedback from a physical KB, but that's just me.

Both the Q and Z have predictive text spell check etc, so I think it comes down to personal preference.

The only other thing I can offer is with the Q you have speed dial, I'm not sure if the Z has this.

I have had a q10 and now a z30. While I like the physical keyboard a lot. I find now when I go and look at my mom's q10 I just find the screen so small and cramped.

The upside to the q10 is the physical keyboard gives you the feel that you have actually hit the letter as well as the speed dial feature. The downside is you may find the screen harder to read if you are coming off a larger screen device

I've actually been thinking about getting a Q10 because no matter how great the touchscreen on the Z10 is, I miss having physical keys. I'm curious whether I would be able to handle going back down to a smaller screen though.

I purchased two Q10s and sold them while keeping my Z10. The main reason was the LCD vs the Amoled screen. I just like the LCD display on the Z10 better. And I wanted the Bold 9900 feel but did not get that with the Q10. The screen size difference was not an issue. I have small hands so it was easy to swipe etc with the Q10. I find typing on my Z10 to be effortless now but I know how u feel about missing the keyboard. I am waiting for the Q20 and might switch if it feels like my beloved 9900.

I have a spare Z10 but use the Q10 for my daily driver. I feel more productive with a physical keyboard and the smaller screen size isn't off-putting to me at all.

This is a phone geared toward creation versus consumption and I prefer it. I still manage to waste time each day catching up on news via gnewsreader or crackberry though. :-)

As for amoled versus LCD I like the amoled. The dark theme is easy on the eyes and the battery. I find myself wanting to turn up the brightness level to at least 50 percent on the Z10 but am perfectly happy leaving it on the dimmest setting for my Q10.

I have the Q10, Z30 and the Z10. Im like you I use my device for messaging and work mostly, also to read up on crackberry. For these things my Q10 is my favourite.

The only problem is BBM anytime I switch I have to initiate BBM on that particular device

I have a Z10 and love it, I just purchased a Q10 and I am really enjoying it. I find the text and fonts on the Q10 to be different from that of the Z10 which makes them very easy to read on a smaller screen.

I enjoy a physical keyboard, before I got my Z10 I had a Torch 9810 and liked that phone.
The keyboard on the Q10 is very solid and easy to use!

I have decided to stay on my Z10. I might just wait for the Q20 if ever. Or if my carrier will offer the Z30. But i just hate big screens. >.<

The GN3 has the most beautiful 1080p screen. I have a Z30 and an iphone 5 but nothing compares to my Q10 for instant usability.

For everyday e-mails, texts, and typing the Q10 is the best phone I've had to date.

Right now, the battery life between the Q10 and GN3 are the same. 2 full days of charge under normal use. I consider this awesome since the GN3's battery is the same size as my Q!

I just updated to 2102 so we'll see if the battery life gets any better?
