People who have good battery life don't turn off gestures and they don't have to turn off LTE. I went close to 14 hours yesterday with LTE and WiFi on. Turning off all the smart phone features is ridiculous.

I am getting close to 20+ hours on 10.1 with moderate use and about 12 hours with heavy use after upgrading to the 10.1 leaks.

With moderate use the other day I took my phone off the charger at 7:15am and still had 75% battery at 10pm. Close to 100BBM messages sent/received, some emails, 20+ texts, close to an hours worth of browsing, BeWeather Pro running in the background and Gtalk on the whole time as well.

Hopefully 10.1 can help me out as well, sounds like it's working

I'm on the official 10.0... release on my phone. i have all features on except 4G now. Took the phone off the charger 7am this morning and now it's 7:30pm. I have used the phone fairly much . Few calls, lots of texting, some CB10 use, updated a few apps, listened to music on my phat headphones on my 30 minute walk home from work and all that normal stuff I do every day. Battery is now at 65%. Will probably be like 50% when I go to bed.

Totally acceptable. Way better than the drain I had a couple of days ago on previous firmware.

See its hard for me to believe that, I can't get that, unless your brightness is at zero and even then I still don't believe that.

yes, my brightness is pretty low. Gestures when screen is lock is also off. Don't have much apps on it and I'm always in an area with strong connection or wifi. Before, with gestures on, and brightness at max, I'd be flat after 8 hours.

Guys am having 13 hours on 1 go with very heavy usage on calls apx 100-110 mins + skype calls ,40+ mails, cb, toi, whatspp & some use of camera.

Had bought bundled charger with extra battery, with it 24 hours non stop

Bbm 10 rocks after upgrade to 10.1

OK quoting myself as just as I predicted it's now bedtime and my battery is exactly at 50% lol. Since the last post I have texted some and took 5 photos (some of which I also edited and sent on whatsapp) and filmed some fireworks for 4 minutes.

Don't know if this is the right place for my question, but here it goes: Does having the HDR enabled on 10.1 drain your battery, even when its not in use? i Have turned if off and will report back, just wanted to know if anyone knew.

Thing is when I go on gsm I get the edge network which isn't too bad, I can stomach it because of the amazing battery I get, it's like a 2g-2.5g, i wish I had 3g flat with umts. I'm on hspa+ again and haven't seen that much drain well this morning atleast, from what I've read hspa+ is really like a 3.5g, lte is true 4g idk that's what I read. If the battery drains too much ill just go back to gsm. Games really eat at your battery and I hate that, streaming videos as well, hope this is all fixed with the update.
