I've been having some issues lately with my Z10 mic. When im talking on the phone i hear the person on the other line clearly but apparently they hear a lot of background noise and it sounds like i am fading away as i talk.

This hasn't happened once but a number of times.

My Z10 model: STL100-3 and im running a os version 10.3.1.1016.

Well go back to 10.2.1 official and see if it still occurs, if it stops then it's a leaked OS issue

I have a similar if not identical issue with my Z10, STL100-3 as well. I was on OS 10.2 (can't recall which one) and today updated to 10.3.1.2267 and the problem remains. This seems not to be an OS issue as it started "all of a sudden" about 2 weeks ago. If I plug my headset in, it works fine so I assume the problem is with the mic. I've ordered a new mic which I'm yet to receive. I'll see if that solves it.

It could very well be that it's a leaked os but I installed the leak back in November 2014 and have noticed this issue arise in Jan-Feb 2015.

Where did you order a new mic from and how much was it?

About 6 bucks on eBay. Unfortunately it's on a slow boat from China, literally.

With 10.3, Magicjack finally works (yay). I made a call on it and the other person was able to hear me crystal clear. I then made a normal phone call and the person couldn't hear me. Not sure why that would be.
