    Hi,
New to Crackberry and forums here, have had z10 for a year and a half now, and just in the last few months have noticed phone is getting more laggy. Also seems like I have a major memory leak. Wondering if anyone can confirm same problems or suggest help. All input us appreciated

The lag is general OS stuff and not app particular, although more than usual is the BlackBerry browser app lag, I could open like 15 new tabs in browser before and have a couple load just fine, but now I'm lucky to be able to have 5 tabs open and one loaded without out a noticeable page load time increase and crazy lag when switching tabs.

Also I just thought I'd check my RAM memory to see if I just had too many processes running in the background and found that if I (physically in my calculator) add up all the memory that my z10 says it's using its totals about (877 MB or 0.85 GB total) (out of a total of 2044 MB total available or 2GB) for z10 but the pie graph at the top says my phone is using (1.45 GB total and 533MB is free). Soo that means there's 1.45GB-0.85GB = 0.6GB unaccounted for. I'm just wondering where has all the rest of the memory gone? How does this compare with numbers you guys have? I know each phone will be different but it could help because I'm using around 75% of my available memory. Sounds like a memory leak... if so how to fix? Any ideas

Thanks for reading, any help is appreciated

    Mark

How often are you rebooting your phone?

Yeah maybe once every 2 weeks, I used to restart it more and pull the battery often, I'll try restarting it more, I feel like it was around 10.2 install that I started to see the lag and such amid a bunch of the new features. Not sure though, I can definitely notice the lag tho, not sure what is using all that extra memory or if it's just a calculation bug in the phone or something

Try deleting all the apps you don't use as the phone will slow down if you are getting close to filling up the storage space
