Hey everyone. Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing a "chuggy" BlackBerry as of late. After using it now since it's been released in Canada I've been using it as my only phone. What seems to happen now is everything is running slow, apps are slow to load, Bbm conversations are blank for about 6 or 7 seconds then they load, when opening the phone app it shows just numbers for about 5 or 6 seconds until contact details load. Just general performance problems. I'm debating doing a wipe and reloading but curious if this is happening else where? Any solutions? Yes I'm on the latest update from Bell.

I have 7 pages of apps Lol and mine still runs quite fast.. Only performance issues are with Adobe air, so phone app and settings page are a bit jittery and slow loading. But this will soon change to cascades, im sure BB is working on it now.

Yes it started to happen in the last couple of days. It is like a slight delay when opening an email from the hub with a dimmed screen and once that first in a few hours has happened the speed is returned.

I'm also experience a purge of my active frames a lot. Very irritating making apps like hub++ pointless then again they may be the cause I don't know.

The slow down is annoying as I know how quick the phone can be.

Hmm yes very annoying. I guess ill wipe it and start fresh again. Im only running apps from the app store (dont have any sideloads installed). The funny part is that im not running ANY apps while this is happening. It just seems generally slow. Like I said, when loading apps such as BBM or Phone it takes 5 or 6 seconds to populate the text. Ill take a video and will post it.

Yes this is it EXACTLY! I don't have Hub++ installed so it don't think thats the cause for either of us.

Indeed the only port I use is Waze. No side loads for Mr either. Besides when this happens my active frames are empty.

No such issues. Still runs like a charm.

Clear the phone log; in the phone app, swipe down, clear log. That should solve the phone app slowness issue. For general slowness, be sure that you have not completely filled up all the 16gigs, or closer,of your phone memory. That will slow down ANY phone. Have seen that happening to Note2 as well. Move media to an SD card, may be?

I managed to run 7 games at the same time, plus go back and forth with BBM and the hub
    Still runs like a champ

Not sure about the first world countries, but most people here (India) use the Class 4 SD cards without knowing it. They are slow in general, and painfully slow when entirely filled with data. If not already doing so, make sure you put in a Class 10 SD card; it has higher speeds of interaction/access with a phone.

Mine runs smoothly with 7 pages of apps, 10 email accounts and 3-4 apps that are always open....although i have to admit it is slightly slower than day 1....but i can't really tell the difference

Agreeing with Ankit. Clear your call log by pulling down from the top on the phone app. With bbm are you saving Chat History? That may have a similar effect. Clearing may bring the speed back here as well. I've had mine since day 1 in Canada with heavy use and tons of apps and the fact that the Z10 doesn't slow after loaded heavy in one of my bragging points to friends.

Stop loading all that Porn on it.
Maybe if you get out of your sealed closet, and get closer to a tower, it will pick up a signal tower better.

Sorry but I don't want to clear my call log. That would be a bug if that is slowing it down, that is my history...

SD Card is a Sandisk 64GB job. Free storage on phone is 8.3GB and Free Memory is 772.6MB.

And no I've got a femtocell in my closet connected to the broadband giving me a perfect full 3G signal strength thank you very much...

And yes, my bragging point was speed and usability for the last month and half...but now it all of a sudden stops at times...

I've had mine since the start and it's fast as ever. I heard the SD card thing as well but SanDisk is the same one I'm using.

I wonder if you have an app or program running in the background that's causing it to bog down. Did you download anything recently you can track it back to?

Only "major" issue I've had since Feb. 5 was the required security wipe after installing new apps was failing.
Today the hub got stuck showing landscape mode in portrait mode so it was a squished-looking half-screen display. A few rotations within the hub fixed that.
Have never seen slow downs. I've got about 30 apps installed.
