Well being in Canada I haven't come across this issue too much yet, but i do notice that if my thumbs are a little sticky its a little tough to swipe words. Now that it's warming up I wonder what it'll be like in 80+ degrees. Anyone in warmer areas have any issues with this?

Hah I noticed this today myself. My hands were temporarily sweaty and I noticed my thumb kind of got stuck on the screen while swiping the predictions. Summer is approaching and it will be interesting to see if this will be a frequent problem.

    You mean, the opposite?

you'll need to learn to be gentle while flicking up
If you're too gentle though, I find it presses the key instead sometimes.

Do you have a screen protector on it.

There's no screen protector on it from factory right? It's just that I see these tiny tiny dots all over the screen in some angles. Are those on the screen itself?

I remember my Sony Xperia Play had a screen protector from factory. I did not notice until I was told so because it fitted so nicely you could not see it.

I'm gonna leave this Z10 as it is regardless. I find the screen is very slippery and friction free. It also barly ever get greasy to the point I have to clean it. It cleanes itself easily while it is in the pocket. So the screen has much for it I think but when you are sweaty friction will appear!

I believe those tiny dots are the heat sensors.

I noticed the last few days (it's been rainy) that higher relative humidity levels do make the screen less slick. I do have a screen protector so that might be part of it, but I wouldn't dare leave the house without a screen protector on.

yep, that was my first noticable "negative" of a screen protector. Noticed the other day that I was clumsy as heck with sweaty fingers with swiping.
