Bought new Z10 from Car phone warehouse last week but it keeps doing restarts, reboots for no reason, I am running the latest software and have tried restore but keeps randomly doing this. Does anyone know if this is hardware issue defective handset or software related? Really like the phone but can't live with this as it drains battery fast where it keeps rebooting?

I had this when I first got my z10. Every time I put the phone down or moved it around with a bit of speed...essentially every time there was a minor bump, it would restart. I thought it was likely a defect / loose connection.

As a final check before returning I popped the back off and checked the SIM card and memory card. Thought maybe they were a bit loose so I reinserted and made sure they were solidly in place and haven't had a problem since.

Yes it also resets when in my pocket so could be case think I will just return it for replacement.

I had this problem, it wasn't a loose battery connection it would just restart multiple times while sitting on my desk. I finally called T-Mobile and they sent a replacement. I have not seen the same problem yet, so hopefully it was something to do with the device. They only sent me the phone, so if it has something to do with the battery, I'll try that next.
