6 hours of battery life is just a joke. you could jump a car off an iphone battery after 2 days, but my new z10 needs to be charged mid day after medium usage in the morning.

My girlfriend listens to music for an hour and the stupid thing dies. And don't even get me started on how the phone literally turns off when on 20 percent. But hey man, whatever works for you.

Tried most of the leaks and found minimal improvements.

The thing just has too small a battery. For a dual core the thing eats like a quad core.

Well for the record I can get 17 hours+ with minimal use, and at least 10 hours with regular use.... Horses for courses I guess.

I can go pretty much all day with normal usage. I could probably go two days if all I did was listen to music on it. Since I can change out the battery anytime I want to it's really a non issue.
If you can only go six hours I would look at what you have running all the time or your Z10 is defective or at least the battery is.

If you can, source a sim card for a carrier that has released a newer OS, assuming your device is unlocked. If not, then load one of the many leaks, it would make such a difference.

Agreed. The battery is inadequate for a days worth of solid work.

I ended up buying a 1900mAh battery by Mugen Power from Amazon without the need of changing the back cover since it fits perfectly and have noticed a lot of improvement.

Mine lasts all day, huge battery especially with minimal use. Games drop it of course.

Your totally right. That's why BB7 devices only last for a few hrs.... Or right. One of there biggest reasons to use BB7 device was battery life running for days. I guess that's why the BB10 is doing sell well in the market.

IPhone 5 last just as long as z10 or less but I don't see people bashing on that product.

Anyway, z10 battery isn't up to par, but with a replaceable battery and amazing os and virtual keyboard, I have nothing to complain about this phone.

Plus, Google play will be added by next update. Apps won't be a problem anymore.

For the records. I'm a heavy user and my Z10 battery life is as good as it ever was on my Bold... I was in the habit of dropping my phone into a desktop charging cradle when I'm at my desk, but now since 10.2 I don't even have to!

However... I cannot for the life of me understand why people buy a phone with a removable battery (insisting that's important), and then complain about battery life!? I carry a spare battery. Almost never use it, but if I have to, it's literally 60 seconds and I'm back to 100%

An iPhone 5s battery doesn't even last a day. The pos I use for work is almost dead in 6 hours under 10% left. Keep dreaming though that it's superior. My Z10 lasted a day easy.

I wouldn't be surprised if somebody is selling an app to jump start a car on the iPhone.. they have apps to detect ghosts, see your biorhythms and talk to your pets. It really is a remarkable device.
