    Guys, got a brand new z10 week ago. Running official latest OS. Finally got round to my restore.

    I restored everything but the settings.

    Phones fairly warm now and battery is draining like 1 % every two minutes.

    Is this normal? Ie is it indexing or something?

    Also I noticed a process called invoke proxy, is this normal? Cheers.

    It's normal. Will cool down and stop the drain in a few hours. Perfectly normal.

    To me it lasted 3 days....no way...abnormal!! I use the phone for work also...I had to wipe the z10...now it is better!!

    I see these comments frequently. reindexing and give it a couple of days and it's perfectly normal.

    Can anyone clarify if this is perfectly normal for BB10, BlackBerry in general or something else. Some actual fact quoted on a blackberry site would be nice. I do like a bit of bedtime reading lol.

    It's all very intriguing as i've never encounter anything like this before. But then I'm new to BlackBerry. But I'm no IT virgin (17 years in the industry) , and I've never encountered this in ios or Android or Playbook for that matter.

    Mines settled a bit now. Phones not hot no more and battery drain is normal like it was. Gonna have an edge as my battery/phone is less than two weeks old.
