I just got my Z10 and am loving it. I have one error that is a bit annoying. When I added my gmail account I get an error "at this time your calendar/dav event server is unavailable..." preventing my calendar to be synced. I do get my email, and contacts added to my Z10, but no calendar. Am I missing something or perhaps an advanced setting to try? Thanks

Funny how it's only the calendar that is not able to sync up...

Nah doesn't seem to work.. add's it, lists it in accounts but isn't in calendars, and if you go in and change the sync interval and save it says there is a problem

I have a playbook with the same issue as do many others.

I turned on MS Exchange ActiveSync and used my gmail logon information and my calendar is now sync'ing up like a champ.

Description = Your Description
Domain = Blank
Username = <username>@gmail.com
Email address = <username>@gmail.com
Password = <your password>
Server Address = m.google.com

I left all other settings as the default and like I said, it's working great now!

I had the same issue but somehow when i rebooted my phone the calendar was there

Same issue here, just tried to add via activeSync method and get an error. "Service for account ([email protected]) is not available. Access should be available soon. [Error Code: 403]. Looks like they may have turned activeSync off for good now. Any other ideas on how to fix this??

Today's software update to 10.0.10.85 seems to have fixed the calendar sync issues. I had to refresh my caldav settings (just go into settings and put in your password again and save. But I can now enter events in my google calendar and they are syncing!!!

I have a problem with syncing google calendar. It only syncs events within 1 year period. i.e., today is may 10, 2013, and if i add an event in google calendar for may 10, 2014 and earlier, it will sync. but for example, if i enter an even in google calendar for may 21, 2014, it does not sync! anyone with similar issue? solution?

update: I read on google calendar forum that this is a google issue, and that it only syncs events within a year. BUT!!! my bb playbook shows events in the future, over the 1 year period.
