It should be global. As far as I know all Verizon BB's have been global for the last 5-6 years (maybe longer) AS far as being unlocked from Verizon, I doubt it. Verizon locks all of their phones but if your account is current and more than 6 months or so old they will unlock for free over the phone

Yea, i always unlocked them with no problems in the past. I just thought that with lte, it was an fcc rule that that had to be unlocked or something of the sort.

In fact, now i recall.... my dad has a resound. And when i called to unlock it, they told me that it was already factory unlocked.
