    There is apparently some sort of OS glitch that causes that to happen, but there might be some workarounds to it. Take a look here for example:

    Suggest upgrading OS to more current version. I had a similar problem now resolved w recent OS update to 10.1.0.2039. Phone is running solid without random restarts. Think I'm going to jump into 10.2 soon as beta releases seem more stable

    I have a blackberry z10 too and I have a problem with it ...
    It's suddenly turn off and don't turn again even I connect it to power source and after about 10 min it turn on again and at that moment ( before turn off ) the battery percentage was 50 % ... can you help me ???

    Read the following post, it contains links to many discussions about this issue - I assume you have an STL100-1 device? (Z10 sold in some Middle East, African and South Asian countries - non-LTE model)

    Just update to 10.2. They're more stable than any 10.1.

    Yeah hoping they come up with a solution. Mine occasionally freezes for certain apps, just dealt with it. And it sometimes shuts off on it's own, but it always turns back on, so just deal with that too. Love the phone otherwise!
