Good point! Assuming most of us are living in North America, we should spend money on products designed/manufactured/assembled all the way inside America (North/Middle) to boost our economy. Z10 is designed in Canada and assembled in Mexico while on the other hand iPhone is designed in the US but assembled in China; Samsung is designed in Korea and assembled in China. Tell him to buy Z10 because of this!
I'd hate to see what happens if your friend accidentally made that comment to the guy that's driving the Lamborghini with the BBRY10 license plate, and who is probably using a Z10.
Coming from a bold 9700 the z10 feels like a delicate device (which it is), as oppose to feeling "cheap"... As such, i ordered a hard plastic silicone case and a screen protector from ArmorSuit...now i don't worry so much when i'm handling it.... Here's what it looks like...

Anyone that has a lambo and has a bbry10 as their license plate lacks class or tat. I like bb but I don't like it that much to put it on my license plate. What a joke.
I do know one thing, if the phone feels like it is metal I am instantly concerned about reception due to all the antennas in a modern smart phone and their need to send and receive signals. The least obstruction the better so "plastic" IS the quality design material for a phone. Metal by nature will present a compromise to antenna performance as Apple has found out so clearly. For those living on the fringe of a cell tower this should be a serious consideration. My experience has been that Blackberry and Nokia phones have always been superior in these fringe conditions and is the primary reason I have always come back to them whenever I have strayed.
Really? Because out of the box I found it nice but quite dim compared to the iphone. Are there some fancy adjustments one can make that I'm not aware of? It actually reminds me a lot of the Lumia 920s screen. Nice, but not as vibrant as others.
LOL. It's true....their battery also last over 72 hours continuously playing highdef vid over lte!
You might want to look up the difference between contrast and brightness. I don't appreciate what you did here. Or just look to the link I posted. I made nothing up, just what I read. Maybe it isn't true, judge for yourself.
