I brought my Z10 out for my family to see and use as they were all curious, turns out my uncle already bought one, my aunt was buying one and now my mom wants one after trying out the virtual keyboard. My younger cousins were overjoyed with the time shift camera and even my 80 year old grandmother was interested in it. Definitely a good sign this device seems to interest all age groups.

I think that anyone who sees this phone is action or actually uses it will like it. I can't tell you how many times I have tried using the BB10 gestures on my work iPhone. LOL! The Z10 is the truth!

Not sure your 80 year old grandma is the target market, haha, but that is cool Definitely a phone you need to experience to appreciate its awesomeness

Did the family dog want one too! Lol!

Sorry, your depiction of the event sounds a little far fetched. As if upon your presentation of a Z10 sparked (no pun intended) everyone in your family to suddenly came to there senses and is head over heels for the BIG Z!

If that's the case then I say right on! We need some more Z force carriers in the wild to do battle.

I only got to show it off to an in-law who was packing a BB Torch 9800 slider. He'd made a pile of money buying RIM at just above $6 dollars last September and selling it at just under $18 in January, so we quickly forgot about phones and had a good yak about the stock market

    ***Edit

...and he's not rushing out to buy a new phone - he's got all his funds tied up in the market, lol

Sorry, the dog was not interested. Nothing was far fetched. My family have been long time BB users, some of them have recently switched to other platforms and now are impressed with BB10. How is that far fetched?

I was surprised at Easter dinner. There were 2 Z10, 3 9930, 1 9800, and an 8320. The only other phones there were 2 android and 1 dumb phone... I didn't believe it myself lol
