    Yesterday I returned my Z10 that I picked up on the release date. --Battery life was terrible, it was acting up in other areas as well freezing up not rotating properley.

    It was exchanged under a "DOA" policy.


    The New phone has had no issues.
    The battery life has tripled compared with the first phone.

    I also noticed under settings that by tapping the Icons I could quickly change notification to on or off or turn the alarm on or off.
    Under WiFi it now shows the network that I am connected to.I was not able to do this with the first phone.

    I have been reading the posts since day one and the complaints over battery life may actually be a an issue with the phone.

    Just some observations I wanted to pass on

    Or if it was a blackberry policy.I got it at bell

    DOA is a standard industry policy for any device in the first 30 days. It means dead on arrival and covers hardware failure. It's different than the 14 day swap out policy for if you don't like the phone and is meant strictly for the usual 30 day defective return period. The DOA code just covers you in the system for any device swap charges.
