what text selection glitches?
9 out of 10
7/10
not as smooth or easy to use as my old iPhone 4s. Once they tweak some small function problems (ie- bluetooth pairing problems, podcast issues, twitter app and lack of instagram etc...) it can get up to an 8 or 9.
but, I do think the new Galaxy s4 and iPhone 6 will make the Z10 feel out of date.
actually, compared to my experience with iPhone 4s and iPad 4 the text selection and edit placement is very wonky on the z10. If they fix this issue it would be really nice.
really you would give the Torch an 8 but the iPhone 4s a -3? Are you serious? I had a torch and it was a terrible phone, an embarrassment really. My wife had to use it for about 8 months while she was on maternity leave (she usually uses a BB Bold from her work) and she said she wanted to throw it in the toilet so we'd have to buy a new phone for her...it was a piece of junk.
The iPhone 4s is a great phone. I'd give it a 9/10 because the screen is too small. Once the z10 gets its needed tweaks it will become an 8/10 with the potential to reach 9/10....
10/10 for device
5/10 for BlackBerry cause we in India are still waiting for update.
8/10 for OS as there is definitely room for improvement, although it is amazing to use the same.

8.5/10 I have detailed my thoughts elsewhere in the forum.

10/10 - Loving the Z10 completely :D
So who voted crap twice??, guess it must be many of the trolls here and ones who arent brave enough to post in here why they voted 1 ie crap??.
I gave it a 10 as im absolutely loving the phone, sure theres a few glitches...major one for me is the loss of having the option to delete off handheld or delete from both handheld and server. But even then its not a huge deal and i can only hope they bring this option back but i highly doubt it. Other than that, i think its perfect for me...everything just flows so nicely on it.
I do love this Z10 but I think I may buy a Q10 in April, I'm finding that the delete and send key are too close. I guess I'm just a physical keyboard kind of person after all :)
They need to sort out syncing with Outlook - other that feeling and looking good.
Also no consumer Bloomberg app for BB10
8. It would have a 10 if it had better battery life. But that is on the way.

9/10! Need updates!!

10/10 Coming from an GS3 I thought I would miss all the android apps but then I started side-loading and have them all back, but this has also intrigued me on creating my own apps.
9.2 phone is awesome beet ever in market now and if need to be all BlackBerry has to to is update processor, graphics and memory to stay on top.
Os needs more tweaking and features.

Glad to hear :)
9.5/10. Best phone I ever owned, but just needs that extra 0.5 to be absolutely perfect. I am sure over the next few OS upgrades it will most certainly achieve 10/10. : )
I dropped mine on the tile floor in the kitchen :(
but there wasnt so much as a scratch or a scuff!
10/10.

It's 10 on 10 for sure. Just waiting for the new software update.

As much as I am a BlackBerry nut I am giving it a 8/10.
Reasons:
1) Missing some key features that us BB hardcore users use on a daily basis (customizable notifications, bedside mode calls only, ect.)
2) The lack of data compression. I burnt through my 1GB of data in about 2.5 weeks. I didnt change my data habits in the slightest and i had to go go half the month with no data. Very unacceptable for a BlackBerry device, the one thing i could brag about about VS Droid or IOS i can not longer do.
3) The lack of Apps. Yes I am aware that its the developers not the brand so just stop there before attacking me. What I mean by this is that BBRY should of went to the people that already had apps on the Legendary Devices and got them to port theirs first then go after the big name. Ive always believed that BBRY should be thinking about their loyal customers before expanding. There are some apps that i paid for and I can no longer use because i switched over to the Z10.
4) The API. Im no developer, although one day i do hope to be, but to my understanding it is very difficult or not worth their time to develop some apps for us. With the old OS a Dev could just bake an app into the menu key and you have it everywhere or they could hardware it into the software. But with how OS10 is now you have to keep the app open for it to work (ex. ColorID). If a Dev wants to correct me on this please do this is jsut my understanding of it.
5) BlackBerry said that the updates are going to be through them not the carriers so that everyone could have the latest version and not be stuck without features. Well the very first OS update comes along and what happens....Bell customers are left behind AGAIN...wait let me check again to make sure...yep still no update...
These are some of the big things that are bugging me about my new Z10. I read every article i can come across and I am fully aware that this OS is still in its infancy so over time these will be fixed but for right now these are my concerns.
9/10 10 once all the apps are there
